BnP (a.k.a B & P) stands for Blanks & Postage.

A BnP is basically a one sided trade. You send blanks to someone who has already agreed to this BnP and they burn the show for you and send it back.

Alot of people are BnP friendly, and if you see someone has a show you want, and you are unable to offer them a trade in return, ask if they can do a BnP for you! Be courteous, polite and if they can't, understand that it is essentially a favor.

How to BnP:

1) Just ask! Find someone with the show you want and ask them via ezMail, email or post to them.

2) Once that person has agreed to do a BnP for you, put the package together. This is VERY important, and make sure you do it correctly.

3) Take a bubble mailer, put your address as the address to be mailed to, and their address as the return address. Make sure to put the appropriate postage on it, insert the blanks in sleeves and DO NOT seal this mailer. Essentially, all they will do is burn the CD's, put them back in this mailer and send it back to you, it saves them from having to do any additional work, or having to pay for postage. Also be sure to include in that package a short note with your email address should they need to contact you, and include on the note the show you are asking them to burn for you as a reminder.

4) Insert that mailer into a larger envelope and address it to them, seal it and send it!

5) Thank them when you get your package back!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:

- as a BnP is a favor, and someone else is burning shows for you and getting nothing in return, make sure to put the package together correctly.

- include the correct number of blanks. (I always, throw in one extra in case one of them goes bad, and tell them that if they don't use it, to keep it.)

- This is a biggie: include the correct postage.

- send the package when you tell them you will send it, so they can have the show on their hard drive in advance.

- be polite, kind and courteous!

Enjoy! This is how I got my list started, and I am eternally grateful to all the kind people who did BnP's for me!
