Simply put, it's a freebie. An unexpected show. Deadhookers are famous for being bomb-crazy.
Someone will just go to the mailbomb list (http://pub107.ezboard.com/fdeadhookfrm34.showMessage?topicID=1.topic) or find your address in your profile, pick an address, and send away. Nothing in return, just a nice gesture to share good music!
This is one of the reasons it is good to have your address on the mailbomb list and have a link to your list either as your signature or linked to your profile, so people can send you something you don't have.
